Help
Good technical support is the basis for work on livechat. If You do not have an excellent technical background, your earnings will never reach your ideas. To work on livechat, You will mainly need a laptop (or classic desktop computer), webcam (classic or digital camera) and quality internet connection.
1.Notebook
- it is definitely more comfortable and better to have a notebook: it is smaller, lighter, more mobile and will consume much less electricity.
- if You have a classic desktop computer, nothing happens, You will earn the money chatting on it as well.
- Your notebook or computer should not be older than 4 years.
- the brand does not matter.
- a mini notebook is not quite ideal for this work.
- in the notebook (computer) You can have any system: XP, Vista, Windows 7
- it is not important what graphics card, power supply, size and display resolution, size of the hard disk and other stuff the notebook (computer) will have .
- significantly more important for this work are the following technical parameters: memory - at least 1GB, number and quality of processors - preferably when it's dual-core processor and more.
- As You will work on multiple LiveChat at once, Your notebook (computer) will have to handle a lot of information and manage operations simultaneously, for this reason it is important that it have good performance.
2. Webkamera:
- Currently webcams meet everything required from their work on livechat.
- they are small, mobile, easy to handle, have a comparable picture as conventional digital cameras and are much cheaper.
- if You have a classic digital camera, You obviously work with it.
- it is very important about the webcam what image quality it has in a worse light.
- webcams of lower price category have a big problem at worse lighting, image quality is declining rapidly, resulting in loss of clients (clients are accustomed to a good, sharp image).
- This problem can be compensated by additional lighting, or you can buy a little more expensive but better webcam, which can automatically add light and improve image quality.
- currently one of the best webcams for this job: Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000th
- If You would like to broadcast with a really professional digital video camera, so snap something like: Sony EVI-D/31 PAL or Canon VC-C50iR
3. Internet access:
- Internet speed is very important to work on live chat.
- because the fluidity and quality of your image, and thus the amount of your earnings depend on the speed of it.
- if the picture quality is not sufficient, the client goes to another model.
- Speed Internet is divided into two zones: incoming (Download) and outgoing (Upload).
- For us, especially upload speed (Upload) is very important
- It's because You pass your video images, which go from You towards the client.
- Ideal upload speed for working on live chat is 1000kbit / s, but just for a start 512kbit / s, which is the rate offered by most internet providers.
- Unfortunately, most internet providers offer incoming velocity (Download) much faster and better than the speed of outgoing (Upload).
- Largely in advertisements and contracts, Internet speed providers mention rather Download speed, which is not so important for us.
- In order to make sure that your technical capabilities conform to broadcast live chat, you have to do a small speed test:
- Open the following pages: Speedtest and run the test. , it will take about 1 minute until You see the result.
- if the internet connection speed is not enough, contact Your Internet service provider and arrange with him about the speed increase to the desired value.
